Following the 1 City Many People
exhibition Seedgen, under its future trading name,
thinkofthefuture.com, presented City Hall with a very large
panoramic picture of the City's skyline, which now hangs in its
executive office.
A supporting website has also been launched at
www.betteraccess.org.
Both initiatives were delivered with a view to developing www.thinkofthefuture.com
and reflect the company's increasing emphasis on
sustainability:
- sustainable strategy and research support
- sustainable strategic
partnering opportunities support &
- sustainable business
development and fundraising support
The new website at www.thinkofthefuture.com
will be launched shortly.
Steve Lowe
Steve has over 20 years business
experience working for
global technology companies, government departments and small and
medium sized businesses. He has assisted with the strategy,
marketing and business growth of clients serving high tech. and
telecoms; construction; professional services and government
markets and holds masters degrees in Business Administration and Computer Technology.
Thinkofthefuture.com was
originally slated to be a parallel non-profit outreach activity to
run alongside Seedgen, but the arrangement is too complicated. The
latest idea is to simply to bundle everything together. The
focus of the consulting side will shift back to more strategic
work, with an emphasis on sustainable outcomes. Outreach and
experimental projects, such as www.thermalcities.com
and assorted 'white papers' will be presented in a growing
collection of micro sites.
Work is currently underway on a
key project that will underpin much of what thinkofthefuture.com
will do and the intention is that it gains even more exposure than
thermalcities.com did over two years ago.
Although thermalcities.com has
not been updated for years the project had a worldwide impact.
Type in 'thermal images' to Google and, even though they may
appear to belong to others, many of the images that come up will
have originated from it. See for example: the BBC;
London
Times, Daily
Telegraph, London
Evening Standard, Guardian
& Daily
Mail. Various other images have been used for assorted education
and research purposes around the world.
